On 24 February 2026, the team from Greifswald University Library set off for beautiful Szczecin to discuss further plans for 2026 and 2027 at the Pomeranian Library. We had the chance to explore the stacks and admire Pomerania’s cultural treasures! The planned Pomerania Room, featuring a permanent exhibition on the recent history of Pomerania at the Książnica Pomorska, is a project close to all our hearts, but who would have thought that Szczecin would also make such a great setting for crime novels…? Dear publishers, please translate more Polish regional crime novels into German! Or how about a new genre: the Pomeranian Mystery?
