Greifswald – In the early 20th century, newspapers from Pomerania frequently featured articles or supplements on fashion—and, of course, plenty of advertisements for local fashion houses! You can easily search for these articles in the Digital Library and, if desired, reuse the images—they are now in the public domain. Unfortunately, we no longer have the sewing patterns that were available for order back then. However, printed instructions are included, at least in the magazines on fashion and needlework!
